The Judicial Council
The Judicial Council is the internal legal arm of the United Students Government. Using the current USG Constitution, the Council is charged with deciding the constitutionality of any legislation brought before them. The Council also settles disputes and grievances between members of USG, both individuals and organizations.

The Council is made up of a Chief Justice, Assistant Chief Justice, and five Associate Justices, The justices of the Judicial Council are appointed by the USG President and approved by the Senate each September or as vacancies occur. All matriculated undergraduate students with a 2.25 cumulative GPA or higher are eligible to serve.

Grievance Information:
If you have an issue you would like to bring before the Judicial Council, contact the USG Office (878-6701, Union 402) for information on how to file your grievance and how to prepare for your hearing. The Grievance Form is available in the USG Office.
