Follow up... [12-5-16]
Over 200 students were present at the Annual USG Corporate meeting on December 1 and all USG Member Organizations were represented. The officers of the student government each spoke briefly on USG's operations, accomplishments, and plans. Retiring Buffalo State Vice President for Student Affairs Hal Payne addressed the meeting and a representative of the University Police Department spoke on fostering dialogue between the UPD and individual student organizations.
Thanks to all who attended!
USG is among the few incorporated student governments. The United Students Government Service Group, Inc. holds an open Corportate Meeting each year so that share holders - all undergraduate students at Buffalo State who pay the mandatory student activity fee - can meet with the leaders of the organization.
This year's meeting is Thursday, December 1 at 12:30pm in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall.
All undergrad students are invited and encouraged to attend. Organization faculty/staff advisors are welcome as well.
Note that attendance at this event (which also serves as an Organization Representatives Meeting) is mandatory for all presidents, vice presidents, treasurers, secretaries, and organization representatives from all USG recognized student organizations. Substitutes are acceptable but each group must be represented by at least 4 officers or members. Make sure to sign in on your organization's sheet so that your group will get credit for your attendance. (Students cannot sign in on multiple rosters regardless of multiple memberships.)
