Safe Spring Break Week March 22 to 25 USG will present three events to encourage students to avoid risky behavior and come back safely from Spring Break.
Monday, March 22 - DUI: A Powerful Lesson with speaker Mark Sterner; 7PM, Social Hall
Tuesday, March 23 - Condom Bingo with snack and prizes; 8PM Fireside Lounge
Thursday, March 25 - Root Beer Pong; 7PM, Social Hall
Student Election Information Students are campaigning for positions in the Unites Students Government and student seats on other campus governing bodies. A Meet the Candidates event is set for Bengal Pause on Tuesday, March 23 in the Union Lobby. Also videos of candidates presenting their platforms will be on vew in the Union Lobby. Additional information will be published in the Record student newspaper. Voting will take place April 6 through 9 in the Union Lobby. For more information see the Student Elections page.
Changes in the USG Game Room! The Game Room in the lower level of the Student Union got a facelift over the winter break with a new paint scheme and some new game features. Guitar Hero is now a video game option and two dozen new board games were added to those available for students to sign out. The traditional games like chess, checkers, and dominoes are on hand as well as popular pastimes including Monopoly, Clue, and Life - and even Rock'em Sock'em Robots! Coming soon: big-screen cable TV! Stop in during your next trip through the Union!
