Advance-sale tickets must be used for all on-campus, student-sponsored events where admission is charged. All student tickets are digital. They are purchased online through the Rockwell Hall Ticket Office. The ticket is loaded onto a student's ID card and the card is scanned for admission at the event.
No tickets may be sold or admission charged at the door of an event.
In order to sell tickets for an event an organization must have an income line in their budget.
When creating an event on Bengal Connect you will be asked if you are selling tickets. If you answer yes, you will be prompted to answer several questions and the ticket request will go through an approval process.
If your event requires wrist bands to control admissions you will be required to purchase them through the USG Business Office.
If you are planning an event with an admission charge, please visit the USG Business Office for a full explanation on the ticketing process.
Advertising Ticketed Events
Because advance-sale tickets sold through the Rockwell Hall are the only way to charge admission to an event you should make sure to include all of the pertinent information on flyers, social media, and other advertising material. This will allow your audience to get their tickets in time and avoid low turnout or turning away people at the door without tickets.
Advertising should include the following:
